I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Superior for my Master of Science in Education of Clinical Mental Health degree. I have a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, a certificate in Healthcare Management, and an associate’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership.

I have experience as a crisis worker, working with over 30 counties in Wisconsin. Where I work with clients with suicidal and homicidal ideations, active psychosis, and other crisis situations. We work together to create safety plans and provide helpful resources for the best possible and least restrictive outcome. I also have worked with comprehensive community services (CCS) and outpatient day treatment services for children ages 6-14.

Before making the career change to mental health, I worked in a supervisor and training role. I realized I enjoy working with individuals on personal and professional goals, relationship building, overcoming obstacles, and communication skills. However, I wanted to help at a deeper, more significant level.

I have always been a strong advocate for mental health awareness. I am so excited to apply what I have learned in the past two years of schooling, along with my life and past work experience, to help clients find joy in their lives.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, and traveling. We aim to visit all US national parks; so far, we have been to 23 within the US and 5 in other countries. I also enjoy reading fantasy and psychological thrillers, but I will pick up just about any book.
